A few things to know about our return policy.
In Store Purchases and Online Purchases for In Store Pickup
1.) First, returns are allowed on an exchange-only basis. We cannot offer cash or credit cards refunds. However, customers may exchange their items with items of similar or lesser value.
2.) Customers may also accept a credit slip (as good as cash and never expires) and return to the store at their leisure to use their credit.
3.) Any book or item exchanged must be in the condition it was sold (no creased spines or bent pages).
4.) All exchanges must be accompanied with a dated receipt.
5.) Exchanges are only accepted within 10 days of the original purchase. If items are past the 10-day mark from purchase, customers may always sell their items back to us during buy hours (for more information about book buying policy, check out this page).
6.) We are slightly more lenient around the holidays, as recipients may be unaware of complete store policy.
7.) Orders placed for in-store or curbside pickup will be held for a maximum of 6 weeks from the order completion date. If the order is not claimed within the specified timeframe, purchased items will either be returned to their publishers or consolidated with store inventory.
Orders Shipped (Online Orders/Orders Shipped from the Store)
1.) For books purchased and shipped from our store, customers must contact us immediately if book arrives partially or totally damaged to receive replacement copy. If the result of damage is on our end, we will reimburse customer and pay for any secondary shipping costs. If you are sending a book back to us please indicate the reason on your package (damage, incorrect item, exchange, or return for store credit) so that we may process it in a timely manner.
2.) If incorrect book was ordered by customer, unfortunately that customer must pay for any extra shipping cost to send replacement copy. We're not responsible for buyer's remorse or other ordering errors; however, we will be happy to work with you to make sure that you get the book you need in a timely fashion.
3.) Any order completed by Green Apple with successful USPS tracking will be considered valid. We are not responsible for "porch pirates" or able to compensate those victimized by mail theft.
