About the Author

Jamie New Johnson is an artist manager, founder of the top online music business resource, mentor/educator, and author from Toronto, Canada. Since 2009 Jamie has worked in the music business in varying capacities for non-profit music associations, educational associations, music conferences and festivals, record labels, editorial media publications, booking agencies, publishing companies, artist management companies, and for independent artists. The artists she's worked with have seen varying successes from television and commercial placements, to international tours, to JUNO Nominations, to top 10 radio hits in genres spanning pop, R&B, hip hop, rock, and country.
