Friday, April 5, 2013 - 7:00pm
We're pleased to be hosting Mikhail Shishkin, a giant of contemporary literature and the only writer to win all three major Russian literary prizes, for a reception and book signing on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 7pm. Brought to San Francisco under the auspices of the Center for the Art of Translation, Mr. Shishkin will be joined by translator Marian Schwartz (Oblomov and White Guard, among others).
Recently in the news for his refusal to attend Book Expo America under the auspices of the Russian government, Mr. Shishkin is truly one of our greatest living writers and this is an opportunity not be missed.
Wine and snacks will be served.
