NoirCitySmackdown\, when we welcome the editors of San Francisco Noir 1
and 2 (Peter Maravelis) and Los Angeles Noir 1 and 2 (Denise Hamilton)\,
along with a couple of very special guests certain to tip the scales in
The City's favor\: Eddie Muller (The Czar of Noir) and Cara Black
(bestselling author of the Aimee Leduc Investigation series). This
four person panel will be a unique opportunity for readers of all types
to learn about the genre and determind which city out-Noirs the other.
This FREE event will be held in the oh-so-noir subterranean event space at the Cantina\, right next to the Rex Hotel. It's a bar (of course)\, so leave the kids at home and come help Dashiell Hammett whup-up on Raymond Chandler.

Howard Norman is a three-time winner of National Endowment for the Arts fellowships and a winner of the Lannan Award for fiction.
