This handy little book will be a great aid to Hispanic students and other Spanish-speaking people interested in expanding their English vocabularies. Compiled by noted language teacher Seymour Resnick (whose "Essential Spanish Grammar" is now in its 33rd printing!), the text includes over 1,001 of the most useful and commonly used words in the English language presented in alphabetical order. To illustrate their practical value, the words are used in simple English sentences followed by a Spanish translation.
